Joe grew up in the local area around Lake Vermilion and starting fishing Lake Vermilion with his dad and brother as a kid. During his high school years Joe worked at one of Lake Vermilions
best resorts and through his job met many of Lake Vermilions fishing guides. After attending Bemidji State University for social studies education Joe determined it was time to start his childhood dream of being a fishing guide. Joe’s favorite fish to chase is walleyes, but he also targets pike, bass, and panfish species. Joe guides out of a 1750 CRESTLINER fish hawk powered by a 115 Evinrude E-tec with Hummingbird electronics. Joe’s mission is to provide his clients with a safe, fun, and educational fishing trip on beautiful Lake Vermilion.
