Dave has been guiding in NE Minnesota since 1988, including guiding in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. He specialized in walleye and pike fishing while guiding in the BWCA. He has been fishing on Lake Vermilion since 1997 and began guiding on Lake Vermilion in 2000. Dave specializes in muskie, walleye, and  northern pike fishing on Lake Vermilion. In 2006 he won the PMMT Muskie Tournament on Lake Vermilion. He has also been featured on TV specials for walleye and muskie fishing on WDIO’s Up North Fishing, Mid-West Outdoors, and Simply Fishing. He guides out of a Lund Pro V with a 175 hp Yamaha and if needed he has all the equipment and tackle for your use.
