RB’s Guide Service | Rob Bryers
I was born on the opening day of the Minnesota fishing opener. I have been involved ever since, spending my early years growing up on Lake Vermilion during the summer months. That was over fifty years ago, fishing Trout Lake along the way. One of my first jobs growing up was working at the Trout Lake portage, so that gave me even more time to learn to fish Trout Lake. Pursuing a career in forestry was a child hood dream. After retiring from over thirty years of a forestry career, I now have the time to fish and guide full time. Having spent my whole career in NE Minnesota, I have a wide knowledge of the area and it’s rich history. A day of fishing will be fun, peaceful and I will share my vast knowledge about the history and natural wildlife of the Lake Vermilion region. My daily goal is to put my guests onto the best fishing and offer them a quiet and pristine fishing adventure. I offer half and full day trips on both Trout and Vermilion Lakes. You can fish for walleye, smallmouth bass, and early season lake trout. The trips come completely outfitted with quality equipment, bait and shore lunch is available! My boats and an active member of Lake Vermilion Sportsman’s Club. I am also a proud supporter of Take A Vet Fishing Day.for both lakes are new, safe, and comfortable.
I am a U.S. Forest Service BWCA outfitter guide permit holder. I am a proud supporter and participant of Lake Vermilion Take a Kid Fishing Event.
